I want to

Roll an existing pension, 403(b), 401(k), or defined benefit plan into my 403(b)

If you want to roll an existing plan into your 403(b) there are a few things we should check before going through all the paperwork.

  • Is the account a 401(k) or other defined benefit plan, a traditional IRA, or another 403(b)? If so, Great! You can roll these accounts into your Lincoln 403(b). To start the process CLICK HERE. Please note, this form MUST be signed by hand, please print out this form, and then CLICK HERE to upload the form to us once it is signed by hand and scanned back onto your PC.

  • Is the account a Roth IRA or brokerage account? Unfortunately, these accounts cannot be rolled into a 403(b). If you return to the American Funds section on the “I want to” section of the website, you can review how we can best assist you with these accounts!

  • You are encouraged to discuss rolling money from one account to another with your financial advisor/planner, considering any potential fees and/or limitation of investment options.
