Maximize my ROTH 403(b) using a Systematic Withdrawal (Active Members Only)
- Many active members have used the American Funds after-tax account to maximize their Lincoln Alliance ROTH 403(b) accounts. You must have active monthly earned income since payroll deduction is the only way to invest money into this account.
- This is known as a Systematic Withdrawal. The only way to contribute to the 403b account is through payroll deduction. In order to do this, we will review your 5 most recent remittance advice slips and recommend an additional amount to contribute to your 403b from your payroll. At the same time we will arrange a monthly withdrawal for the same amount from your after tax accounts and deposit them in your checking account until the after tax funds have been depleted. In this way your monthly payroll amount will not be affected. In order to determine the appropriate amount to add to your monthly ROTH 403b contribution, we will need additional information. Please click on “Questionnaire” on this website and complete the form, noting in the comments field that you would like to set up a systematic withdrawal. In addition, upload a copy of your last 5 remittance advice slips/pay stubs for review. We will then send you a completed systematic withdrawal enrollment form for your approval and signature. Also, if you want additional information about this process before proceeding, click on the “Contact FMN” tab and request information about the systematic withdrawal or call FMN at (800) 436-9340 and ask for the Wycliffe department.
